I think you might be in the wrong line of work yourself, sir! You have just revealed knowledge and appreciation of the British footwear industry (and its creative potential) that would make most production managers blush.
I think we’ll leave it to the experts!
Now that I think about it, I’m always personally minded to buy the classic model (e.g. the Tricker’s Bourton or Clarks Desert Trek, both of which are my favourites) rather than the new and exciting collaboration model. My thinking being that the original has lasted 100 years already, and the people that make it probably know a few things more about a good shoe than the upstart designer.

Unbeknownst to his customers, Paul has always been a flower child.
I can easily picture a hippie in San Francisco’s suburbs taking off his Birkenstock sandals to then put a pair of Desert Trek on, because he has to « dress up », and « they both have an anatomic shape … it realigns the feet’s chakras, man ».
More seriously (?), the trend hasn’t caught on here yet, but you’re right, it’s definitely one of Clarks’ iconic designs.

I wonder why Clarks favours Italy for the production of such premium series. Manufacturing in the UK would make more sense in regard to the brand’s heritage.

La veste pyjama elle est incroyable je trouve, l’un des designs qui me parle le plus chez SEH.

I was fortunate to spend formative years in Manchester in the early '00s, where crepe-soled orthopaedic-style footwear was very much de rigueur among the cognoscenti.
You were either a Desert Trek man, a Wallabee man, at a stretch a Jacoform man, and on Sundays, it was permissible to be a Springcourt man.
As if set in aspic my taste in footwear hasn’t changed much since.
And I am very much of the vanilla approach to flavours, and eschew the new flavours with the extra sprinkles.
Tricker’s meanwhile are of course as close as you can get to orthopaedic aesthetics within the « proper » footwear world.

Rappel pour les retardataires : S.E.H Kelly ne solde jamais ses articles, et n’utilise aucun moyen détourné pour écouler son stock (ex : braderie). La marque est restée fidèle à ce principe depuis son lancement.
Donc quand vous tombez sur quelque chose à -40 / - 60 % en occase (comme la veste et les pantalons ci-dessus), réjouissez-vous !

Je plaide coupable pour la Field Jacket, l’annonce était restée longtemps avec le référencement mais récemment Vinted me l’a supprimé car j’utilisais des photos du site. Lorsque je l’ai reposté, j’ai dû zapper cette étape.
