Merci messieurs
If we had a « what people around the world look like wearing in full or in part some aspect of the wares purchasable from the S.E.H Kelly workshop and / or website » (the title needs work) this would be the top entry.
It is especially good to see this sort of thing because when we take photographs for the website, the focus is on highlighting an individual garment rather than an ensemble … so we tend not to do much multilayered shenanigans.
We’re also re-entering the Japanese market later in the year, and since the only other place that springs to mind for such « as worn » photos is a Google image search for « seh kelly site:jp » …
… so perhaps in a few months there will be some more to see there (beyond AW17, I mean, which is the last time we worked with shops over there).
It opens up our options for showcasing different outfits, and showing different ways in which some garments can be worn, especially in summer.
I’m not sure t-shirt is the right name for it, and I like « undershirt » but that tends to be synonymous more with vests than t-shirts. It’ll be heavier than a normal t-shirt, and a much less throwaway quality. We have tried jersey t-shirts in the past, never with much success (certainly not enough for them to appear on our website) and so rather than chase the idea of British-made jersey, we settled on a luxury, fully fashioned knitted one, which plays to the strengths of our knitwear.
